NFL picks predictions week 1

Due to the long relationship and foundation by the Dutch of New York (aka as New Amsterdam) I have to root for the NY based sport teams. Other than that I am a Cowboy fan and follower from abroad. All my exes live in Texas so to say.

Here my quick takes for week 1 which are as always based amongst others on sentiment and hope (http://www.betfair.com/ bookmaker odds between brackets).

Tennesse (3.5)@Pittsburgh (1.39)

Like the courtcase that Big Ben will pull out a winner in the NFL kickoff. The Steelers are too much on defense and Titans too little on offense. Pittsburgh by a fieldgoal.

Dallas (1.36)@Tampa Bay(2.76)

It will be a long season for the cowboys. They field too much talent on both offense and defense to be upset by rebuilding Tampa. Dallas the winner +14

Denver (2.8)@Cincinnati(1.39)

Denver will even make Roy Williams (former Sooner and Cowboy) look good. Cincy +7

Detroit(6)@New Orleans(1.11)

Not only because Drew Brees is my fantasyQB I pick the Saints +21

Jacksonville(3.5)@Indianapolis(1.35)

It will not be easy for Manning and the Colts. Colts +6

Kansas City(5.3)@Baltimore(1.1)

I like KC in this one. KC +3

The fish will win this one. Dolphins +14

It is a divisional game, the Bills are heavy underdogs and New England working with makeover defense against Terrell Owens and nifty Bills backs. Ingredients for an upset. Bills +7

Oakland with McFadden will win. Raiders +10
